The students’ Chemistry Society at Warwick University, Warwick Chemsoc, organizes each year a great conference to enthuse sixth formers on why science is great. With the Annual Conference On Research in Natural Sciences (ACORNS) Warwick Chemsoc hopes to help students decide whether further study in a science would be the path for them by providing the opportunity to experience a series of mini-lectures presented by academics from our very own Warwick University. There will also be the chance to engage and hear from current students and get a snapshot of what life is like at university.

This year over 250 sixth form students will visit Warwick University on monday 10th of December. Prof. dr. ir. Stefan A. F. Bon says: “We at BonLab are absolutely delighted to be part of this initiative. The organizers, Matthew Taylor, Laurence Crimble, Emily Brogden and Louis Ammon, have done an outstanding job. We hope that we can mesmerize the audience with talking jellies, and miniature swimming particles, which captures some of the science we have been working on in the last few years at BonLab.”
